To me jewellery acts as the final touch on what is already a beautiful canvas. Jewellery can make or break an outfit, it can add a uniqueness, edge and elegance. So choosing jewellery to purchase should always be a careful decision. Of course you can buy costume type jewellery until the cows come home, but those key solid classic items that you will never want to give up, should be considered carefully.

Leather Love
My obsession with leather (nothing kinky) has been going on for a few years now. I am always investing in new leather items including boots, bags, jackets, vests and pants to expand my already over flowing wardrobe. Having a skinny leather pant custom made for me was probably one of the smartest fashion decisions I have made. They keep me warm in winter, as well as adding that edgy look to what could otherwise be a plain outfit. Whether it’s a plain boyfriend tee, crisp white shirt or this seasons peplum style top, a pair of leather pants will definitely match with anything. So this is the time ladies, to invest in a good pair of leather pants. You will not regret it.
My favourites out at the moment come from One Teaspoon, Winston Wolfe and Bassike.
Confucius Say..
This is a notion I believe in whole heartily I am lucky enough to have more than one very amazing industry I work in. Writing, in particular about fashion is always ever changing. I get to experience things that not many people do, I get to meet interesting and inspirational people and view beautiful designs. I write from an organic place and always keep in mind my values and the values and needs of my audience. I want to captivate, entertain, please and astonish. I love what I do and I would not change it for the world.
The Perfect Coffee
About 4 months ago on one of my regular trips to Bali, I walked into one of my favourite concept stores in Bali This is a Love Song and found a little gem hiding behind it. Walking into Seminyak cafe Revolver, felt more like I was in Melbourne than in Bali. With its edgy vintage like interior the cafe instantly had my attention. Taking one sip of the coffee there and I definitely fell in love.
Australian owner Katie Allan has definitely started a coffee culture in Bali and has set the bar very high. In my opinion Revolver has the best coffee in Seminyak if not the whole of Bali. I am yet to find a coffee as good anywhere else on the island and when you come from Melbourne like me, coffee is essential to getting through the day. (not that a day in Bali is hard to get through) My pick? The soy latte. Absolute perfection.
Style Inspiration
There is just something about this girl. Olivia Palermo. When she was first introduced to us on The City she received a lot of criticism for being a naive socialite snob. But I guess that’s the thing about reality television, you don’t always know what’s true and what’s not. More recently her involvement with charitable organizations and collaborations with well known luxury brands such as Salvatore Ferragamo, suggests that this girl is definitely switched on and knows how to market herself. One thing I do know for sure, is that Olivia Palermo has style and is one I watch for fashion inspiration.
Pleased to meet you
So you have been reading all these posts from me, and you may be thinking, who is this chick? I thought it may be worthwhile to actually introduce myself to you, my sweet wanderers. Although you know me as Divine Wanderer, my actual name is Tiffany and I am from the lovely city of Melbourne.
Who am I? I’m a 20 something teacher who loves to be inspired by beautiful humans like yourselves. I love literature, philosophy, politics and history and adore wandering new cities discovering rich and exotic cultures. I have an ardour for fashion, design and beautful art. I value truth, honesty, family and friendship and believe in the inner beauty in all of us. My style reflects who I am as a person; individual, bold, conservative yet playful.
On the Surface
I tend to be quite diverse in my personal style. I never really like to pigeon hole myself and love to mix match high end designers with basic staples. As I am a teacher, there are times when I have to wear corporate attire, so a leather pencil skirt, blazer and heels are perfect. At other times in more casual circumstances, I will wear denims, a bomber jacket, or a perfect knit to keep me warm.
I love when I stumble upon a label that I am instantly captivated by. A bit of indie love, street style and elegance all bundled together always warms the heart. I may be a bit behind the 8 ball, but I have just discovered label Surface to Air. Falling instantly in love with their two tone Horizontal Denim skinnies, I proceeded to check them out on their website.
Boots are made for walkin…
Whether it is Summer, Autumn, Winter or Spring a good pair of boots in your wardrobe is always a solid investment. Many people are under the impression that you really only wear boots in winter, I say otherwise. With a cute play dress or a pair of cut off denims, a boot will always give you that edge to an outfit. If you want to dress up a casual pair of boyfriend jeans or spray on skinnies, or add a playful element to an A-line or swing skirt, a classic boot is always a safe bet.
You want to get at the very least 2 years out of a pair of boots, which means that your decision must consider quality and style. My go to favourites have currently lasted me two years and have plenty more to go. Obviously anything leather or suede is always a good choice. Don’t get me wrong, I have been known to purchase a cheap pair of boots made out of synthetic materials, but these are simply my muck around trash boots, that will only last me the season I buy them in. Three styles in particular have stood out to me this season. Between Senso and Acne, I am in love.
Behind the Beauty
Now I know it is summer somewhere in the world, but Australia just kicked into Autumn and Melbourne…..well let’s just say winter has come early. Along with this cold snap has come my winter skin. Yes no longer have I got my sun kissed, salt water loving, luminous skin that summer ever so blesses me with each year. The pasty look is back and no I don’t mean its back in season, it’s more of a back with a vengeance kind of deal. Then comes the dryness of your skin and lips that goes with the cold wind..ouch not fun at all.
For me, I tend to have combination skin, so my beauty products change depending on the seasons. So let me run you down on a few key products I use to try and keep my skin happy in the cold. Continue reading
Cheating on Fashion
Lately I have been cheating on fashion with interior design. Yes I have become that person who gets excited at the thought of a new throw rug, cushion, vase or kitchen item. Home deco can be very addictive. I try to find daily inspiration from interior designers and architects, such as Robert Mills who designed the gorgeous Sorrento house you see above, so that I can add odd bits and pieces that are me, to my new place.
