This is a notion I believe in whole heartily I am lucky enough to have more than one very amazing industry I work in. Writing, in particular about fashion is always ever changing. I get to experience things that not many people do, I get to meet interesting and inspirational people and view beautiful designs. I write from an organic place and always keep in mind my values and the values and needs of my audience. I want to captivate, entertain, please and astonish. I love what I do and I would not change it for the world.
And Now, A musical Interlude…

The Perfect Coffee
About 4 months ago on one of my regular trips to Bali, I walked into one of my favourite concept stores in Bali This is a Love Song and found a little gem hiding behind it. Walking into Seminyak cafe Revolver, felt more like I was in Melbourne than in Bali. With its edgy vintage like interior the cafe instantly had my attention. Taking one sip of the coffee there and I definitely fell in love.
Australian owner Katie Allan has definitely started a coffee culture in Bali and has set the bar very high. In my opinion Revolver has the best coffee in Seminyak if not the whole of Bali. I am yet to find a coffee as good anywhere else on the island and when you come from Melbourne like me, coffee is essential to getting through the day. (not that a day in Bali is hard to get through) My pick? The soy latte. Absolute perfection.
Style Inspiration
There is just something about this girl. Olivia Palermo. When she was first introduced to us on The City she received a lot of criticism for being a naive socialite snob. But I guess that’s the thing about reality television, you don’t always know what’s true and what’s not. More recently her involvement with charitable organizations and collaborations with well known luxury brands such as Salvatore Ferragamo, suggests that this girl is definitely switched on and knows how to market herself. One thing I do know for sure, is that Olivia Palermo has style and is one I watch for fashion inspiration.
Pleased to meet you
So you have been reading all these posts from me, and you may be thinking, who is this chick? I thought it may be worthwhile to actually introduce myself to you, my sweet wanderers. Although you know me as Divine Wanderer, my actual name is Tiffany and I am from the lovely city of Melbourne.
Who am I? I’m a 20 something teacher who loves to be inspired by beautiful humans like yourselves. I love literature, philosophy, politics and history and adore wandering new cities discovering rich and exotic cultures. I have an ardour for fashion, design and beautful art. I value truth, honesty, family and friendship and believe in the inner beauty in all of us. My style reflects who I am as a person; individual, bold, conservative yet playful.
If nothing ever changed…
…we’d all be running around banging pterodactyls over the head with clubs. But judging from Suzy Menkes’ article, “The Circus of Fashion,” it would seem some people miss chasing after flying dinosaurs.
Menkes talks about how fashion should only be for the cool kids, arguing “If fashion is for everybody, is it fashion?” Then a bunch of people get mad. And then Tim Blanks reminisces about the good old days, interestingly linking our hunger for glamour and celebrity to economic bad times:
Wow Architecture.
Something truly wow today: Stefan Antoni Olmesdahl Truen Architects and Antoni Associates designed this home, St Leon 10, in Bantry Bay, Cape Town.
Cut into the slope with approximately 50% of its rear face below the natural ground level, the upper level floats over the essentially glazed South West facing first floor and this exaggerates the height of the building relative to the adjacent ground level. The view from the house looks out over the 12 Apostle Mountains and the Bay.
ANTONI ASSOCIATES were appointed as the interior decorators. On the entrance living level the interiors are kept to a neutral palette with a subtle play on texture in materials and fabric selected. Soft cream leathers and weathered timber finishes layer the interior with luxurious elements. The overall feel is warm and inviting and ever so cool.
Wouldn’t mind waking up to this every day. Although, having said that – if I lived here i might never go to sleep!
On beauty

Dove’s running a nifty new ad campaign called “Real Beauty Sketches” where they use a police sketch artist to compare a woman’s take on her looks with a stranger’s take. Regardless of our shape or size, skin colour or age, I guess we’re all real women; we hate our noses, think our knees are fat, wish those smile lines around our mouths would quit getting deeper.
Even though our inner critic holds up the most unflattering mirror, it’s a comfort to think that others see a different, much more pleasant reflection.
