Odyssey Rising

This week saw our latest collection Odyssey Rising officially released. Having shot Odyssey Rising in the extremely beautiful, wondrous natural playground of the Maldives, this weeks launch saw us reminiscing over warm tropical waters, white beaches and dreamy summer days. The campaign film says it all really, we are forever in love with chasing a never ending summer. The warmth, the light, sea breeze, salt water and tropical palms..are truly intoxicating.

Our love for the never ending summer was matched by our stunning inspiration and muse Margot Busheva. Her etherial yet exotic beauty became the perfect canvas for our designs. The collection symbolises our respect for nature and the inhabitants of this magnificent earth. With tropical prints, deep sea marine giants and ocean back drops, Odyssey Rising is only a hint of what is to come.

MSFW…and thats a wrap

Well it has been such a delight viewing the incredible Australian designs, coming out of Melbourne Spring Fashion Week this year. One thing is for certain, as I keep saying, the standard has really been set for future fashion weeks in Australia. The production element was just spectacular, with most runways paired with innovative and entertaining lighting designs, as well as epic tunes and live entertainment.

It was ever so fitting that We Are Handsome kick off the final runway for MSFW 2013. Showing the latest looks from our 2013 collections, the models looked very handsome and rocked the resort show. From our coverups, cupped one pieces, triangle bikinis and playful dresses, we had the runway covered. A number of prints were showcased including The Thief, The Impressor and The Vagabond. In particular “The Stallion” was a reoccuring print, showing verasility in its wear and design. A very successful Handsome show.

Pale and Metallic Vibes

wah

With the winter blues setting in well and truly in Australia, I thought I would bring a little pick me up to inspire all you handsome wanderers. Currently I am gladly seeing a lot of pale looks and metallic hues that provide a sweet alternative to the saturation of layered black winter looks. Don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing like all classic black. A bit of leather, a bit of fur, a structured overcoat etc, but when you look like you are going to a funeral, and yes that funeral is for summer, it is probably time to brighten up your wardrobe. Obviously bright colours are spring orientated (not that bright colours are bad either) so pale looks every now and again, of white, grey and metallics won’t be huge shift in your winter wardrobe.

Giselle & Vogue Paris

What a lovely surprise to wake up this morning, seeing Giselle Bunchen gracing the cover of French Vogue, and a breathtaking full page picture of her in our Diver Bandeau One Piece inside the magazine.

It’s pictures like these that keep us doing what we do every day.
