Limedrop. If you haven’t already checked out this quirky little fashion label, you really are doing yourself a disservice.
Created by the ever so talented and creative designer Clea Garrick in Melbourne 2006, the label has grown to become well known and valued for its free spirited essence and sustainable ethos. Showing on the coveted runways of Mercedes Benz, Loreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, featured in VOGUE Australia and being invited to participate in the Australian Fashion Excellence Showcase in London and Beijing, is surely just the beginning for Limedrop and Clea.
Although I love many of the labels pieces, some of my favourites are from the gorgeous Rosewood Jewellery collection.
Each modern meets tribal design, is handcrafted from organic and sustainable rosewood, paired with an antique brass chain. What I love about the designs is their uniqueness. With its primal and native aesthetics, the pieces represent the labels committment to being sustainable and loyal to the earth. However, the use of geometric patterning and playful pastels, represent the labels innovative take on modernity. Each piece is quirky, whimsical and makes a statement.
