For Bec and Bridge, this years collection ‘Due North’ pushed beyond the boundaries and redefined the labels direction. Balancing innovation and tradition perfectly, Bec and Bridge produced a captivating collection of detailed designs.
Still maintaining the influence of simple structures we often see from the designer duo, a boho chic almost desert safari vibe resonated throughout the collection. A monochromatic palette was used to pair draping with bodice hugging racer neck lines, as well as pastel blues representative of desert skies.
With metal accents creating raw edge, the use simple white chiffon in streamline silhouettes contrasted this, drawing on innocent yet unwavering purity. The presence of patch work denim was by far a standout in the collection creating a strong but statement entry into street style.
The collection was by far one of the standouts produced to-date by the ever talented Becky Cooper and Bridget Yorston. A sense of bohemian wonder was created through out what would have been a rustic old warehouse. A nomadic creation of brilliance.
