WAH's Weekend Bucket List

Weekend vibes are the best vibes at the wrap up of a hard week’s work. So, we thought we’d gather up some of our favourite weekend to-do’s, put them all in one spot and let you explore to your hearts content. If you ask us, a weekend well-spent is one that includes a beautiful beach, buzzing bar and brilliant breakfast. There’s plenty to go around, but we’ve given you our latest. Check it out.

 

Beach, Bar & Breakfast: Brisbane QLD

Noosa Heads, Noosa

Although it lies a rough two hours south of Brisbane, a day trip to the pristine Noosa Main Beach is definitely an expedition worth scheduling into your weekend agenda. Indulge in its silky white sand and some of the most refreshing water this side of Queensland. A weekend of pure relaxation is assured. So with that said, grab a bunch of friends (it won’t take much convincing), your most worn-in beach towel and all other necessary beach props – when you see the palm trees, you’re almost there. Bask away.

Gerard’s Bar, Fortitude Valley

Meet the new kid on the block. This European-inspired bar has many a party trick, providing a taste of Spain with tapas, charcuterie and a wonderful flow of beverages. Amidst Brisbane’s iconic James Street, Gerard’s Bar, as well as housing an award-winning chef, offers a further incentive of being one of Brisbane’s best cocktail serving bars – hello happy tummies and happy hour! No one ever said no to a night off cooking.. So what are you still doing here?!

The Corner Store, Toowong

The most adorable breakfast you will ever eat. This humble little cafe is a perfect pit-stop for amazing coffee and breakfast options of an equal calibre. From the freshest fruit and bircher muesli to decadent bacon and eggs, there is no walking past this hole in the wall that is the Corner Store. A total gem amongst Brisbane’s gastronomic superstars, this little beauty is sure to be ticked off the Bucket List; at least once a week. Whoever decided breakfast was the most important meal of the day just gave us a great excuse I’ll say.

Let us share with you our VICE

When it comes to island destinations Thailand is my pick, tanned hands down, every time. Sure I’ve not been to all of the of the top 25 beaches in the world as voted on TripAdvisor (I have however made a significant dent in that list) BUT I have been to many corners up and down the many coasts of the land of smiles. So, when it came time to choose a location to shoot our latest collection we chased our vices: smiles, spices, sea, summer and sunshine and headed straight to some of the best places in Thailand. Shooting at

Shooting at AAVA Resort & Spa and Kata Rocks our swim collection popping against idyllic beaches, infinity pools, swaying palms and the incredible vista’s of this unique country.

This season sees label favourites shapes complimented with a bevy of new styles in a palette of sorbet and surreal inspired by Miami in the decadant era of the 80’s. We spent a week shooting, swimming and exploring the intricate and overwhelming Thai beauty – now we’ll let you be the judge of which you’ll pick to spend your day beach or poolside at one of these resorts!

Idyllic island exploring for our Halycon Days campaign shoot in Curacao

Of course the brilliant white sands and aqua water, swaying palm trees and island vibe is what you would expect from a gorgeous destination in the Caribbean but as far as islands in the middle of the aqua, supporting humungous bridges, hotels with infinity beaches on the second floor and a drink named for them go, well Curaçao is definitely your island!

I’m particularly fond of anywhere where the local population speaks Dutch, it reminds me of my childhood, raised by Dutch parents on pickled herring, bitterballen, boterkoek and poffertjies I was in kiddie nirvana when I hit Curaçao finding some of these delicacies a part of the regular meals on the island! Of course, given it’s location there is the usual fare of creole food to keep your fresh fish and island fare cravings at bay. The best part is that at any time during your travels on the island you can stop in at any number of roadside stalls where you can grab anything from a coconut, a juice or a couple of pieces of fruit to keep on going.

We ventured to Curaçao to shoot our latest campaign and in so doing explored the length and breadth of the island by minivan, passing through the ever changing landscape, from beautiful old world multi colored houses all butted together like jewels in a majestic crown to the oh so impressive harbour complete with a passenger bridge spanning 67m’s. It swings open and closed to allow ships through or the bridge that spans across the inlet at 56m above the sea! To the rambling dessert strips and salt lakes complete with flocking flamingos.

We spent most of our time on the west coast – where the quintessential azure blue waters lap onto the pristine white sand. The locals (both human and puppy) took a great interest in our campaign and we’re so friendly they offered to help with the shoot!

We were told about it but unfortunately didn’t have time to get to the Eastern part of the island where you have to share your space with plenty of iguanas. We know where we will be headed next time!
Finishing off our days at Jan Thiel Beach we found another european export, a beautiful beachside bar! complete with a pontoon to race too and perform any number of diving tricks. I had the pleasure of teaching one of our models (a former gymnast) to back dive!
A skip and a plane jump from Miami will have you there in just over 3.5 hours – so brush up on your Dutch get ready to work on your tan and perhaps learn a couple of new Curaçao based cocktail recipes!

Blissful Byron Bay

Jeremy and I we’re invited to spend a night at The Byron at Byron and upon entering the sanctuary like grounds found ourselves on the verge of a stillness, all of our crazy week just a faded distant memory. With the sound of the ocean splashing off the walls of our tropical rainforest retreat, the abundant birds chirping stories to each other and the smell of fresh cut lilies filling the air – we had found a bayside nirvana.

The Byron at Byron is situated a short bicycle ride out of the main village of Byron Bay and is skirted by the beautiful and long stretches of Tallows beach. Of all the places and spaces in Byron it’s Tallows that has my heart, this dog friendly beach stretches it’s pure white sands tentacles long up the coast and wraps itself along up to the lighthouse at the eastern most point of Australia. With excited and playful barks tempering the air, families bonding over the surf dumping them on the shore and the odd cyclists gliding by on the hard sand – these scenes are best kind of beach to me.

Situated on 48 hectares the resort features 90 bungalows sprawled amongst 3 uniquely different ecosystems. A wetland, comprising of a lake and river inlets filled with pops of bright blue water lilies, a dappled light filled forest of pine trees and a lush tropical rainforest all make for a perfect space in which to stroll hand in hand experiencing the wonder and changing landscapes melting together with your significant other.

The resort has taken the ecosystems and continued the elements through the décor of the rooms and common areas’. Staying in any of the bungalows has you in amidst an ecosystem with secluded views onto the picturesque surrounds.

As one would expect from a spa resort, it is fully equipped with every spa facility imaginable and we can highly recommend indulging in a relaxing treatment and finishing with a dip in the spa bath. Topped with with a superb meal at the restaurant and you’ve just had the perfect Byron day.

The Byron at Byron is best reached by flying to Ballina then transferring straight to the resort. They offer hire bikes to get you into the centre of town. Thank you to the Byron at Byron for hosting us & giving us a much needed reprieve from the bustle of our week.

Even in today’s world, Africa remains the great unknown. The one thing everyone has on their ‘someday bucket list’ and let’s face it, it probably won’t happen. Life will just plain get in the way. But, the reality is that Africa and it’s wonderments are often closer and more affordable then a summer holiday in Europe.

Going on safari is like joining a secret club where even the members can’t begin to describe the feeling of a safari to each other, it’s that incredible and enlightening of an experience it renders you quite unable to describe the experience. That said, to ensure you you move it up your to position #1 on your bucket list, I’m going to try and let you in on the secret club.

Most days follow the same relaxing schedule, and you slip into the routine with an incredible ease. Before the sun peaks over the earth you’re woken up to the sounds of gentle knocking on your door or, if you’re in a luxurious tent, the sounds of a hot shower being poured for you in your own private bathroom in the beautiful confines of your decked out tent.

Once refreshed, you’re met with a cup of your preferred morning brew and a light snack before you head out onto the land in a fully equipped, yet roofless Land Cruiser in search of early morning creatures still stirring in the dawn light.

Here’s where the magic happens, as you’re driving along enjoying the sounds of nature not ring tones and your co-workers demands, taking in the memory of the rays of sunshine peaking through the trees, listening to the calls of the vidid birds, your tracker gestures and makes a low noise, you immediately turn your attention, your ranger alters your course and your tracks turn in the direction of a big cat stalking a zebra.

Before you know it you are on the hunt with a female lioness, your breath catches as she deftly sidles up in the crook of a tree, the zebra’s nose tilts in the air searching the breeze for the tell tale smell of danger. The lioness holds her position, she knows that patience will  reward her – as will yours. The zebra returns to grazing, blissfully unaware. From the corner of your eye you see a flex of tan, the lioness’ sister has joined in the slow chase. She’s moved up in the cover of your Land Cruiser, the air is so quiet you can hear her fur brushing up against the metal of your truck and you smell the adrenalin coursing through her veins.

Time seems to stand still as both females move in unison to close in on the unsuspecting mare. They’re stalking, crouched low to the ground, hidden so well within the tall grass, they are now almost on top of the zebra and your knuckles are white from holding onto the seat in front of you, you’re doing all you can to understand whose side you’re on. Before you’re ready the lionesses have gone in for the kill, the zebra is hit from one side, lashes out with her hooves in desperate shock, but the sisters planned their attack, the second sister launches from the other side, digs her claws into the striped flesh, her weight dragging the animal down, she closes her jaws down on the zebra’s throat. Your blood is pumping in your ears and it’s all over, the Zebra has passed.

This sacrifice of life allows the continuation of the sisters pride for another week. In that moment, life as you know it has irrevocably changed for you, you’ve been privvy to the hands of fate and seen the kings dominate the circle of life.

As you finally leave the kill, you meander through the bush playing witness to life before your eyes, you may pass a herd of elephant migrating, ambling along, their feet and jaws crunching on all in their path. The matriarch proudly leading the charge in search of a watering hole.

Or perhaps you’ll find yourself in the company of a bull Elephant in must, knocking down a tree in a display of play aggression and dominance. Or come across a baby giraffe learning how to walk gently nuzzled up onto his new legs by his sky-scraping mother, very eager to have him up and out of harms way.

Your morning drive will conclude and you’ll follow it with a hearty breakfast, the rest of the day is spent at your leisure, you may take a nap under the big African skies or even swim to cool off from the heat and as the sun starts slinking down past the horizon you’ll go out on another drive and find your next wild encounter, this time though you’re ready, you have a sundowner and feel the African heartbeat in your chest.

When you’ve taken the time to give some of your time to Africa, she will capture your imagination and leave you longing for more – and that’s when you’ll know you’ve joined the club.

Our personal favourite company to experience all of the beauty of Africa is called &Beyond  – we’ve been travelling with them for nearly 10 years! The company ensures you have the most luxurious safari and the most wonderful time in the bush, their attention to detail is flawless, all the while focusing very heavily on their environmental conservation efforts. It’s this perfect mix that keeps us going back.

SUMMER FITNESS FUN

Snorkelling

Changing up your exercise routine is the ideal way to embrace the beauty of summer. We adore soaking up the sun with workouts that that boost our summer spirit. Perfect for soothing the soul, summer fitness is the best kind. Get moving with these outdoor adventures, which we recommend trying on a fine summer’s day or while you’re on a tropical holiday.

Surfing

Who doesn’t love the idea of being able to ride a sweet wave? Surfing brings out your inner beach babe and is also a killer workout. An invigorating natural stress relief, surfing also improves cardiovascular fitness, shoulder and back strength as well as leg and core strength.

Paddle Boarding

Stand-up paddle boarding is a super fun sport, a fabulous tummy toner and a great arm work out. Paddle boarding is also the ideal way to get out and see some truly stunning scenery. Still water beaches or lakes, lagoons and rivers are ideal for paddle boarding – otherwise you may be in for a wild ride. This worldwide fitness craze is also amazingly uplifting.

 Swim

Embracing the great outdoors nourishes the mind, body and soul. Simply hitting the water and swimming laps outdoors is a refreshing and stimulating way to get some cardio into your day. We love embracing our local Sydney beach pools for a breathtaking experience, such as the iconic Icebergs in Bondi. If you’re on holiday, snorkelling is a fantastic way to explore while being active.

Beach yoga is the ultimate way to develop your flexibility and strength. Practicing yoga on a hot day at the beach delivers similar benefits to a Bikram class, but with awesome visual benefits. The biggest perk of beach yoga is getting to dip in the ocean once you’re done. The healing and health benefits of yoga are endless. Yoga helps to clear the mind and remain balanced while improving your fitness, flexibility, strength and posture.

Beach run

Training on the beach is a fun workout escape. Breathing that crisp, salty beach air will make you feel brand new. Our favourites include boxing, sprints, strength circuits and boot camp style training at the beach or your preferred outdoor location. You could also simply go for a long beach run to tone up those legs.

So what are you waiting for? Get active, soak up the sun and enjoy that never ending summer.

4 Planes, 2 buses, a train, a boat, a golf buggy and an unforgettable paradise…

“It’s pronounced Moldeeves…or paradise” was the response I got when I first landed on the island and even though, out of habit I still refer to it with more of a maal and diives, that gentleman was absolutely correct about the second part, paradise it is! All that you know about The Maldives being idyllic & picturesque is absolutely true and then some!

As I sit here and reminisce over our glorious week of ‘workationing’, the first thing I’m struck with, is how much I miss it. But yes of course you’re thinking, ‘why wouldn’t you’?!
Well, we live a few hundred meters away from the ocean, so that’s not that part I miss. What has me wistful is the complete serenity, the total lack of cars, the smiling faces, the rainbow of ocean blues and an unhurried schedule the island moves to. That’s what I miss the most.

In a world that has become so small, and interconnected, the Maldives is still very much uncharted territory by the masses – it retains it’s elusiveness through it’s remoteness. It took us almost 24 hours of traveling to reach Ayada from Sydney, but unlike all the other times I’eve traveled that kind of distance, I woke up to the sounds of the ocean lapping below us, threw open the doors to an endless turquoise and cobalt ocean and shared a moment with a turtle we named Roger, who was not even 3 meters from our (over-sea) hammock. Roger just bobbed his head in a knowing way, while I marveled at all that was before me.

The island of Maguhdhuvaa is located 30KM’s from the Equator and so far from civilization that you can’t help but feel like you’re a modern day Robinson Crusoe. Except where Crusoe had to fashion his shelter, scrounge for food and occupy himself so as not to go mad, at Ayada, your shelter is a 5 star suite or villa with a private infinity pool, the food is varied and excellently prepared and occupying yourself is the furthest thing from your mind.

Traversing the entire island will take you approximately 20 minutes or you could have your butler chauffeur you in a golf cart to and from your meals and massages. We, however, chose for most of our time to ride the island’s simple white bicycles, peddling our way through palm tree lined avenues and down boardwalks suspended over a coral reef teeming with all manner of fish, reef sharks and sea life.

Incredibly, 99% of the Maldives comprises of water and at no point in the Maldives are you above sea level by an average of 1.5m, but I don’t think at any point on our ‘workation’ were we further from the water by that same distance! The azure hues of the water are like nothing any of us had ever seen before, the spectrum of colours are almost like a painting, perfect and clear and never-ending.

When one heads to a tropical island you are generally accompanied by your nearest and dearest, in this case Jem and I we’re joined by four of ours, and having done so we would highly recommend turning this romantic destination on it’s head and making it a friends-in-tow getaway. Where, as a couple you may lounge by the pool, sip your cocktails, read a book or two and just ease into relaxation. We spent a lot of the time laughing together, mastering our jumps off the infinity pools edge (shhh don’t tell Ayada), biking from one side of the island to the other and and topped it all off with couples massages for all at Ayada’s fully equipped spa retreat.

For a couple of days we ventured off the resort and took  a jet boat trip over to neighbouring islands and sand banks where we explored rough terrain, met up with Roger’s buddies while snorkeling a reef drop off that spanned at least 3 KM’s. We also got into the spirit of it all and kayaked half the way round the island, well Margo and I kayaked – the boys occupied themselves with taking photo’s of us and everything around us. We also spent some time surfing one of the Maldives infamous over-reef breaks and then back to Ayada in time for a hearty afternoon lunch.

Since arriving home, oddly enough everyone has asked us about the food and we can absolutely say it was plentiful and sumptuous. Tuna is the Maldives 2nd main source of income (after tourism) and happily it is in abundance on the island. The sashimi lovers in our group we’re so spoilt with the freshest tuna we’ve ever tasted! On our last night we had a celebratory dinner at the Mediterranean themed restaurant Ocean’s Breeze, like everything else on the island it’s all focused on the ocean and as we sat on the deck watching the sunset and the lights of the bungalows twinkle onto the water, the food just did not stop arriving – we we’re quite literally drowning in excellently prepared and presented sea fare. The standout was the scallops, they were soft and buttery and, well, simply the best scallops I’ve ever had.

Ayada offers a varied array of accommodation, from a beachside villa or suite and of course the quintessential over water bungalow, and having now experienced this slice of bungalow life, I don’t know how I will ever be able to stay in a villa that doesn’t’t have a glass bottom lounge room to watch as the underwater world swims by, or for that matter doesn’t have an infinity pool that stretches over and into an endless blue. I have been totally spoilt by the vistas and serenity of Ayada.

Every suite and villa island-wide has a private pool (of course) and so we found that through the day most of the guests chose to vacation in their secluded spaces – who wouldn’t’t! Which left the main pool area, swim up pool bar and restaurant, well, quiet – which is an absolute first for any resort I’ve ever been to and we relished the opportunity to do some lazy laps and partake in a couple of in-pool cocktails!

As the term ‘workation’ implies it wasn’t all long lunches, sashimi, cocktails and working on our tans. Our team we’re there to shoot our Pre Fall campaign, which will be released in Mid-May and I say without hesitation that it is the best campaign yet. So much so, we’re having a very tough time choosing from the thousands upon thousands of images we created, but this is the best problem to have after any campaign shoot.

The Ayada team went above and beyond and catered to all our needs, and then some, our model Margo celebrated her birthday with us on the island and the the staff marked the event with a cake and a song! There’s one thing for certain, besides the tan lines and endless memories, the Maldives has left an indelible mark on us all.

 

Temple Tree Resort – Langkawi, Malaysia

Langkawi is a an archipelago of 104 islands located off the Malaysian Peninsula, famed for its duty free status, its Skybridge and GIGANTIC statue of the Garuda (that’s an eagle-like bird), but here’s something you may not have heard about Langkawi – Temple Tree Resort is the best place to experience this jewel of the Andaman Sea.

A new innovation from the owners of Bon Ton, Temple Tree comprises eight traditional houses from various eras, and locations around Asia, meticulously taken apart, shipped across and painstakingly rebuilt on the resort grounds to make up a distinctly different resort experience settled right in the heart of a tropical island escape.

Staying in the upstairs quarters of the Chinese themed house we were absolutely amazed at the dedication that went into sourcing all the furniture in keeping with the theme. Each and every piece of furniture and styling detail was in tune with the oriental flavour of the house, we were ensconced in wood tones – the chests and cabinets all carved intricately, the artwork and detail all offering up a story of a village, a battle or a time in life that conjures up the imagination of life way back when. The Chinese house overlooks the 34 metre freshwater pool and beyond that the grasslands and great rising mountains of the island – with these calm vistas we found it all very peaceful!

The resort supports a rescue shelter on the grounds that cares for and re-homes stray animals and as a guest you’re welcome to assist by walking the pups or helping with other tasks. This struck a chord for the animal lovers in us.

Then there is JJ the resident Temple Tree pup who everyday positions himself on the porch to watch the goings on. JJ is so cute and personable he’ll have you wrapped around his paw in no time. Guests are welcome to take him for walks and with Jem and I were really missing Bear and we jumped at the opportunity and went on many many strolls through the grounds and surrounds. Just note don’t let him out of your grip or he will bolt for the dogs over at the neighbouring Bon Ton resort and you’ll be army rolling under fences to catch him!

The resort is completely self sufficient, in the same building as the reception you’ll find a fully stocked bar, superb restaurant, library and pool table. We do recommend dropping in at the restaurant at Bon Ton. With an impressive menu, serving up mostly local delicacies sourced locally and an even better wine cellar taking up a whole house it’s not hard to see why it’s ranked as the best restaurant in all of Langkawi!

Temple Tree is conveniently placed, about a 5 minute drive or 15-20 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of the main beach Cenang and is located right around the corner from the International airport. We recommend booking your stay with our friends The Luxe Nomad. When you get there make sure to give JJ a big pat from us!

On tour in Borneo – Gaya Island Resort

The words “only accessible by boat” can mean only two things for holiday goers; 1. A tropical island paradise the likes of which you’ll not soon forget or 2. A nightmarish freezing cold, sickening, rickety boat ride where you come to believe your last piña colada was truly your last. Fortunately for us, the first destination on our Asian tour was the former -though that’s not to say we haven’t (a few times) experienced the latter…

Just off the coast of Sabah in Malaysia lies a group of tiny islands at the foot of Borneo, one being Gaya Island and home to the brand spanking new resort of the same name. As soon as we landed in Malaysia, we knew this was not only a spectacular place but a very special people as well.

Gaya Island resort had been open around 6 months – enough time for the staff, grounds, monitor lizards and cheeky monkeys to settle in, whilst still feeling new in every sense of the word. Accessible only by a short boat ride from Sabah, and of course – greeted with fresh aloe face towels and guava juice – the first time you see the resort is from the long pier that leads you from your boat to the reception building. And it’s spectacular.

The resort is backed up into the lush jungles of Borneo and fronts a beautiful white sand beach – palm trees, blue-green water and all. A setting unlike any we’ve experienced. Straight away, the one thing that hits you is silence. No cars, no noise of any kind. Awesome.

Getting to our room upon arrival (even at 11pm) was a trek, but the good kind – I mean, we ARE in the jungle. After a warm reception in the building appropriately named ‘Reception’ we we’re shown through the long pavilion which fronts onto the massive daybeds IN the pool that’s right – in! The swim up bar (Katinka’s favourite), the queen size cabanas with proper beds, fans and curtains – WHAT!! From there, past the library, fitness centre all with water views of course and through the main restaurant, across a lantern-lit bridge and boardwalk and finally up a winding path to our digs – 4 stories up in the jungle and facing out to what became a spectacular sunrise over the water and Mount Kinabalu – Malaysia’s biggest mountain.

Our days at Gaya were spent lazily. Swims & naps, snorkelling right off the resort’s beach on a fantastic reef, a Malaysian cooking class, a picnic on a private beach – and this is a good place for a handy travel tip: Don’t kick sand in a monkey’s face. EVEN if he’s advancing slowly toward your picnic basket. EVEN if he bares his rabies ridden fangs and beady little death eyes – as it turns out, sand in the death eyes only makes him stronger!! At some point someone – I really hope it was Tinka – yelped like a girl and two of the resort staff came running, brandishing rocks and yelling something in monkey which saved our lunch and our lives. Phew.

Of course, on an island such as Gaya activities abound, but what about relaaaaaxing? What about a day spa so grand, so lush in surroundings and so luxurious it’s called Spa Village? Well that’s there too, and through our signature 80 min treatment (tea, foot scrub, massage, relaxation and more tea) as well as our private yoga session, we experienced the full gamut of what Gaya Island Resort is all about – serenity.

Serenity, however, means something different to everyone. As evidenced by a young English twosome who we affectionately named ‘Adventure Couple’ who, in between 30 second bouts of relaxing by the pool, peppered their serenity with runs on the beach, stand up paddle boarding, canoeing, guided treks through the jungle, snorkelling, running, weights and push ups in the gym, and even seeing who can eat breakfast the quickest – it was always him. We didn’t quite think it was all that relaxing – but each to their own, right?

What really stood out about Gaya though, was the staff. On a vacation that you don’t leave the resort – at all – the people you interact with are paramount to the quality of your stay, and Gaya’s staff made our stay absolutely fantastic. Familiar faces in the restaurant and the swim up bar made an effort to call us by name “Welcome back, Miss Katinka, another piña colada?”
Willing to assist with whatever we needed – either in the room “Would you like that piña colada delivered, Miss Katinka?” or even on our private beach picnic “I’m afraid piña coladas aren’t on the picnic menu miss Katinka, but we’ll see what we can do”. The staff truly made us feel welcome, at home and like we were kings on holiday and, in all seriousness, those piña coladas were excellent.

• Delivery is via FedEx Smart Post (with tracking) and generally takes 2-7 business days – it costs $5 USD.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY GARMENT?

Although our garments may make you feel invincible, the swimsuit itself is rather delicate.

Make sure you follow these easy steps to make sure your piece of We Are Handsome stays with you forever!

  • Use a mild detergent while hand washing it separately in cold water.
  • Pretty please don’t tumble dry, wring, soak or bleach your garment (that’s just cruel), it’s best to let it dry in the shade.
  • Try not to leave it rolled up and wet, make sure you rinse it really well after each use, especially if you’re spending a lot of time frolicking in an infinity pool – or a non-infinity pool for that matter!
  • Please don’t iron or dry-clean it.
  • Also, try to stay away from rough surfaces as it could cause pilling, and we all know that is not a good look.

  • To notify WE ARE HANDSOME, email your proof of purchase, being an invoice or email confirmation from WE ARE HANDSOME, to our customer service team at customerlove@wearehandsome.com .

 

  • All sale purchases are final and cannot be returned (including exchanges, credit notes and refunds). We kindly ask that you carefully consider your items before purchasing. Sale returns will only be accepted if the merchandise is faulty or wrongly described.

 

  • During sale periods where a discount code is used, any orders placed prior to the start time of the sale will not be eligible for the discount. THIS INCLUDES CURRENT SALE: 10TH Birthday Sale

 

  • Item/s must be unworn, unwashed and in the original sellable condition. All labels, packaging and hygiene stickers must be attached and in their original condition.

 

  • Customers are responsible for organising the shipment of returns including the cost to send the return back to us. WE ARE HANDSOME is not responsible for the shipment of returns and will not replace or process a return that is lost during shipment. We recommend shipping returns through a tracked service.

 

  • It is not the responsibility of WE ARE HANDSOME to pay or reimburse customers for any government import fees, taxes and/or charges that may be applied to orders. It is the responsibility of customers to be aware of and pay any such costs that their country may apply to imported goods.

 

  • Refunds are made to the credit card that was used to make the original purchase and are for the cost of items only. Shipping costs will not be refunded. Please allow 7 business days for the refund transaction to be completed back onto your card. We will contact you via the email address listed on your order when the refund has taken place.

 

  • For exchanges, we will require a shipping payment to be made prior to re-shipment. We will request this payment from you via PayPal. The charges are as follows:
    • USA Domestic $10
    • International Express $15 (International costs will be in the relevant currency)

 

  • Due to the select nature of our product, we cannot guarantee the availability of merchandise for exchanges

 

  • Once your return order has been received your order will be processed within 7 business days. During holiday periods/sale seasons it may take longer.

 

  • We do not accept returns from purchases made through our stockists. We can only process returns on purchases that were processed through our e-boutique.

 

  • Stock quantities are not updated in real time, and therefore occasionally an item may be sold out at time of purchase. If you purchase an item that is sold out, you will be notified by email as soon as possible and offered a suitable replacement or full refund.

 

  • Delivery delays may occur during high volume and peak periods or due to unforeseen reasons. During these times, please allow an additional 7 business days for your order to be delivered. Russian/ South African customers may need more patience by reason of the local delivery system and customs­­.
