I am moving to a new apartment in a couple of weeks and all I want to do is redecorate it as soon a we move in. It’s basically the only fun thing about moving. Everything else which comes with moving is a hassle.
I have found myself looking at interior design blogs for countless hours the past few days – they’re so bloody addictive. I have found about ten different ways I’d like to decorate the new abode, but obviously I have to narrow it down to at least one. Realistically I should be organising the important things like a removalist, a carpet cleaner etc before I decide on the decor of the new place, but there’s absolutely no fun in those things.
This is one of the places I have fell in love with over and over again lately. This baby is located in the heart of Tribeca in New York City. This stunning 13,500 sq ft triplex is situated within a magnificent 1862 limestone loft mansion. It Takes up the 4th, 5th and 6th floors of a 41 foot wide building. It has four bedrooms, six bathrooms (nearly one for every day of the week). Seriously who needs that many bathrooms? Oops, I think the jealousy just kicked in a little.
My favourite features is the fully finished roof and terrace space, the half basketball court and the ginormous ceilings, which range from 12-15 feet high. I love a good high ceiling. But this place just took that love to a whole other level.
Got a spare $30 million in your bank account? If so, you could afford to buy this stunning place. For the rest of us – lets keep dreaming.
