We’re so happy to announce that the custom suit of Bob Marley we made for Rihanna earlier this year is still getting worn often by our fave pop singer, and now shows up a whole bunch of times in her latest music video ‘Cheers (Drink to That)’.
The lovely girls at My Friend Franky have the keenest of eyes and caught a glimpse of us on the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

So, we haven’t said much about it, but a little while ago, after her lovely romp in her Amazon Scoop Back, Rihanna came to us and asked if we might design her a custom piece. Her request was that we put her idol, Bob Marley on a suit in true We Are Handsome style.
During her tour and visit to Sydney in March, she invited us to her concert where we presented her with the swimsuit which was received ever so warmly. These pics are the first ever to show the custom suit we designed for her and boy does she do it justice!! Wearing the swimsuit all day and well into the night, she partied in her hometown of Barbados with friends and family, cruising the islands on a yacht and watching the sun go down.
We’re so thrilled she looks so amazing in the swimsuit and couldn’t be happier.

We thought that in the lead up to in-store this season we’d share a little of our process and inspiration on our prints and method of working. Thus, each week we’ll be introducing you to the Memoirs prints and what inspired them.
The Bather – Moodboard
The Bather doesn’t really need a whole lot of explanation. If it’s not obvious already that we’re obsessed with the beach & summer you haven’t been paying attention. When concepting our beach print for The Memoirs we really wanted to create something that made you feel like you had your own sandy space. A space where you can lie uninterrupted in the sun for as many hours as you please.
The Bather – Frilled One Piece
After all, that’s why we all love exotic island getaways, right? We absolutely adore this print – don’t tell the others but it’s one of our favorites.

If you haven’t heard of UK rising star Eliza Doolittle you’re definitely about to.
Eliza makes what we like to call ‘Happy Music’.

Her first single ‘Pack Up’ is also ultra happy, and perfect for the rainy, cold, miserable day we’re having in Sydney today.

The Dreamer – Moodboard
The Dreamer is inspired by a hot air balloon flight we took last year. The experience of floating silently and at the will of the wind was magical. We’ve all flown in planes before, but there’s something completely different about being outside in the cold air, looking down over the land, the city that just mystifies you.
