Still on a high from Coachella, one musician has stuck in my mind and although the desert dust has now settled, I still have her songs playing on constant repeat. I am, of course, talking about Florence + the Machine. Florence Welch and her band gave an absolutely killer performance that I’ll be remembering for a long time to come. But it wasn’t just about the music, the highly acclaimed songstress completed her theatrical stage presence with an amazing costume designed and made for her by London designer, Hannah Marshall, just two weeks before the festival! Check out the raven-like suit and cape creation, Swarovski detailing giving her an extra element of sparkle.

San-Francisco Beautiful

Something fishy is happening in Potts Point. But rest assured, it all sounds fresh and appetising. Good Living recently reported that the foodie rumblings were true; chef Jeremy Strode will temporarily stride away from Bistrode CBD and give recently-closed Lotus Bistro a complete sea change, transforming it into The Fish Shop. With the idea for the new venture coming from “a fish shack” that owner Justin Hemmes goes to in New Zealand, they could be onto a tasty, catchy thing. These super cute heart-shaped utensils might be the sweetest things I’ve ever seen. Cleverly designed by Fatima Fazal, Heart Part cutlery sets are part fork, part knife and part spoon. I’m crossing to you live, from where I wish I was. If I could be anywhere else right now you would probably find me suited up, lounging by some amazing cave pool on stunning Santorini, Greece. Sparkling blue water, an icy cold frothy freddo on the way, and not a single rain cloud in sight.
