We’ve been waiting ever so patiently for John’s next peice of aural art Born and Raised , and we’re liking what we hear! Yes the country style it’s a diversion from all that we know about John – and it feels a little different, but different is good, it moves us all along.

Not only a beautiful song, Love is a verb is a beautiful sentiment.

I am quite possibly the biggest fan of most singer songwriters and Jason firmly has a place on top of the list. His latest album ‘Love Is A Four Letter Word’ officially came out today and it is a wonderous journey through the peaks and valleys of the best feeling in the world.

‘I won’t give up’  definitely sounds like it belongs on a Westlife album but I am won over with the sentiment and am quite happily listening to it on repeat.

Grab your copy on iTunes.

Recent Developments by Beatenberg

Absolutely enjoying the upbeat sounds of this 3 piece collective called Beatenburg. Their album Farm Photos can be heard here and bought here.

One thing is for certain, I can’t wait to hear them in a music hall when I’m next in South Africa.

A beautifully made but haunting nonetheless video for The bad in each other from Feist.

This is the most ridiculously hilarious music video and further proves the theory that True Romance definitely does inspires such craziness.

As for Citizens! The 5 lads from London’ track True Romance is is the first single off their EP produced by High 5 Collective. They signed to French electronic/indie labelKitsuné late last year and their debut album, due early this year, has been produced by Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand. I hope this is the beginning of a long romance indeed!
